On Dec., 14th, 2018, it was officially announced on Federal Register by US Trade Representative Office that $200 billion of Chinese products entered into the US for consumption will be subject to 25% additional import duties after 12.01 AM on Mar., 2nd, 2019. Now, the world is watching trade talks between Washington and Beijing, hoping that a ninety-day tariff truce will last and the two sides can end the trade war.

What needs to be pointed out is that during this 90 day period, this decision can be reversed unilaterally by the US Government, and the 25% additional import duties would become effective immediately.
