It is understood that, due to the National Development and Reform Commission's interview of key fertilizer operating enterprises, the market supervision bureau of chemical fertilizer enterprises suspected of price gaffing investigation and other policy signals, domestic ammonium phosphate production enterprises suspended export orders, the domestic market is to ensure stable price as the top priority in production and operation.

A person in charge of a fertilizer production enterprise in central China told reporters that although the export demand of phosphate fertilizer is still strong and the price is relatively high, the mainstream enterprises have reached a consensus to put the overall situation first, and have basically suspended the export in addition to sending the early export orders on schedule. At the same time, enterprises accelerate the maintenance progress, steadily improve the operating rate, to ensure the adequate supply of domestic fertilizer.

Zheng Huaimin, deputy general manager of Hubei Bailefeng Agricultural Materials Co., LTD., said that although the manufacturers have postponed the export, the early export orders are very large. According to the current operating rate of about 64%, it is difficult to reverse the tight supply of domestic fertilizer in a short time. According to the company statistics, many enterprises export orders will continue to the middle and late August or even early September, the domestic autumn phosphate fertilizer supply stable price situation is still relatively severe.
