EMOFCOM: Anti-dumping duties will be levied on imports of EPDM from the US, Korea and EU. Comefrom:CCIN    AddDate:2020-12-23    Hit:2238

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) announced on December 18 that anti-dumping duties will be imposed on imports of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) from the United States, the Republic of Korea (ROK) and the European Union for five years from Dec., 20, 2020.

Previously, according to the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the MOFCOM issued Notice No. 29 of 2019 on June 19, 2019, deciding to carry out anti-dumping investigation against imports of EPDM products originating in the US, the Republic of Korea and the EU. According to the Article 25th of the Anti-dumping Regulations, the investigating authorities made the final ruling that imports of EPDM from the United States, the Republic of Korea and the European Union belonged to dumping practices, the domestic EPDM industry suffered from material injury, and there was a causal relationship between dumping and material injury.

Therefore, according to Article 38th of the Anti-dumping Regulations, MOFCOM proposes that Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council should impose anti-dumping duties. Based on the proposal of the Ministry of Commerce, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council has decided to impose anti-dumping duties on imports of EPDM from the US, the Republic of Korea and the EU from Dec., 20, 2020.
