Prices of potassium fertilizer are declining Comefrom:www.jiayan.cn    AddDate:2024-03-18    Hit:164

Potassium chloride

The price of potassium chloride has declined comprehensively, with a decrease of at least 100 yuan compared to last week. Under the sluggish market situation, the market mentality is not good, and the price bottom cannot be determined temporarily. In March, the domestic benchmark product of potassium chloride, 60% powder and crystal, had a station price of 2390 yuan/ton. Due to the decline in imported potassium again, transactions were more difficult, and there were rumors that payment and settlement policies may be adjusted in the later stage. Some traders were selling upside down, and even made bottom line commitments; The stock of ports is still at a high level and under great pressure, and the obstruction of the China-Europe train has further exacerbated the sluggish market. The port price of 62% white potassium has dropped to around 2300 yuan/ton, and the price of 60% large red particles has dropped to around 2400-2500 yuan/ton. There is still some room for negotiation in big order transactions; Border trade did not achieve in March, with only a small amount of goods arriving, but demand was weak. The price of 62% white potassium at Manzhouli Port dropped to around 2200 yuan/ton.

Potassium sulfate

The price of potassium sulfate has also fallen, mainly due to the continuous decline in the price of potassium chloride. Currently, the factory price of 52% water-soluble powder is around 3200 yuan/ton, which is the national average price, and there is still a lot of room for low-end prices, but, overall, the potassium sulfate market is still better than that of potassium chloride, and currently the operating rate of Mannheim potassium sulfate is still as high as 70-75%. However, it is worth noting that the price of resource-based potassium sulfate has also fallen, and some industry insiders are concerned that the competition pressure in the potassium sulfate market will significantly increase in the later stage.
