Recently, 2019 China Organic Fertilizer Industry Development Conference was held in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province. More than 300 people in the organic fertilizer industry from all over the country had in-depth exchanges on such hot topics as livestock and poultry waste recycling technology, microbial fertilizer innovation direction, and organic fertilizer policy direction.
Gao xiangzhao, chief expert of the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Villages, revealed that the amount of organic fertilizer in China was about 40 million tons, accounting for 59.5% of the 67.198 million tons resources. There is still a lot of potential for full exploitation, utilization of organic fertilizer source. As a relatively mature sector in the organic fertilizer industry, microbial fertilizer has been the focus of enterprise development. Li Jun, director of the Quality Inspection Center for Microbial Fertilizer and Edible Fungi at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said that China's microbial fertilizer industry has more than doubled in size from five years ago and will grow at an annual rate of 10% in the next decade.
At the meeting, a number of experts in the organic fertilizer industry shared special reports on a number of hot topics. Professor Li Ji of China Agricultural University shared various composting process and technologies, and combed the current situation of organic fertilizer enterprises; Zhang shuqing, a research fellow at the Regional Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, shared deeply the production technology and innovation direction of commercial organic fertilizer; Wu yuguang of Beijing Academy of Agricultural Sciences combined with video to share the delegates a very practical recycling technology of livestock and poultry waste and the industrialization model of commercial organic fertilizer; Zhou haibin, the Planning and Design Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Villages, combined with the advanced planting and breeding mode of foreign countries, providing a new development idea for organic fertilizer production enterprises; Dr. Zhou Linli, Agricultural Big Data Center, Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, further elaborated traceability system of the organic fertilizer.
