India issues another tender for DAP product Comefrom:Agro Chemical Time    AddDate:2024-06-21    Hit:586

Indian fertilizer importer NFL has issued a tender to purchase 80000 tons of diammonium phosphate (DAP).

The bidding will end on June 24th and shipment is required by the end of July - 30000 tons for the east coast and 50000 tons for the west coast. The quotation is valid until July 2nd.

The importer's bid for 100000 tons of diammonium phosphate on June 17th only attracted one offer, reportedly priced at around CFR $540 per ton, with its bid reportedly lower. It also ended the bidding for the same amount on May 31st, but did not win the bid.

India is entering a peak period for the import of diammonium phosphate, but has not received many products in previous bids.

The current maximum retail price (MRP) and subsidies mean that any purchase of diammonium phosphate above CFR $510/ton will result in losses for importers. The final transaction price was CFRF $520 per ton, but private sector importers are not very interested in these prices.

China is the main supplier of diammonium phosphate in the region, and its FOB price for sales to Southeast Asia has risen to $540/mt.
