Statistics showed that in the first eight months of this year, China's total foreign trade import and export value was 27.3 trillion yuan, showing an increase of 10.1% year-on-year. Among them, exports value was 15.48 trillion yuan, an increase of 14.2% year-on-year; and imports had 11.82 trillion yuan, up 5.2% year-on-year.

According to customs' statistics, in the first eight months, China's imports and exports to ASEAN, the European Union, the United States and South Korea increased by 14%, 9.5%, 10.1% and 7.8%. respectively. year-on-year. ASEAN continues to be China's largest trading partner, accounting for 15% of China's total foreign trade.

In the same period, China's import and export to countries along the "the Belt and Road" increased by 20.2% year-on-year, and it increased by 7.5% year-on-year with the other 14 member countries of RCEP.
