China's import of natural gas grew in the first three quarters of this year. From January to September, China imported 73.731 million tons of natural gas, up 3.7% over the same period of last year, according to the General Administration of Customs. The import of natural gas grew gradually with a fluctuated growth rate. Customs data showed that the growth rates of China's imported natural gas were 22.3% from January to September in 2017, 33.6% in 2018 and 9.7% in 2019, respectively.
