The central government has issued 10 billion yuan to support spring plowing production Comefrom:XINHUA NEWS    AddDate:2023-04-18    Hit:619

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 18 - The Economic Information Daily published an article on April 18 titled 'The Central Government has issued 10 billion yuan of subsidies to support spring plowing production'. According to the article, the reporter learned from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on April 17 that recently, considering the price trend of agricultural material market and the situation of agricultural production, the central finance issued a fund of 10 billion yuan to provide one-time subsidies to actual grain farmers to support spring cultivation production as a whole, further mobilize farmers' enthusiasm for grain planting.

It is reported that the subsidy targets actual grain growers, including farmers who use their own contracted land to grow grain, new agricultural business entities such as large households, family farms, farmer cooperatives, and agricultural enterprises that transfer lands to grow grain, as well as individuals and organizations that provide full socialized services for grain cultivation and incomes, to ensure that the subsidy funds are implemented in the hands of actual grain growers. Each region will comprehensively determine subsidy standards based on relevant situations, fully utilize modern information technology means, and continue to adopt methods such as "one card access" to timely and fully distribute subsidy funds.

Currently, various regions are actively seizing the agricultural season to do a good job in spring plowing and management, laying a solid foundation for a bumper grain harvest. According to the latest agricultural dispatch by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as of April 16, over 140 million acres of spring sown grain have been planted nationwide, accounting for 15.1% of the intended area, with a progress rate of 0.6% points faster than the previous year. From the perspective of crops, early rice seedling cultivation has been basically completed, with nearly 60% of sowing and planting, 50% of middle rice seedling cultivation, 30% of potato cultivation, 40% of spring wheat cultivation, 10% of spring corn cultivation, and 7.5% of spring soybean cultivation.
