In the fertilizer plant of a listed company in Yichang, Hubei Province, the reporter saw several large trucks from Hebei, Henan and other places waiting for deliveries.

Insiders told the reporter that in August, due to the decrease of fertilizer market sales, the operating rate of enterprises has dropped by about 50%, coupled with poor sales, the produced fertilizer has been piled up in the warehouse.

In another fertilizer listed company in Henan, the person in charge of the enterprise told the reporter that in general, July to September is the main period of wheat fertilizer production. However, the operating rate of their enterprises this year is not very ideal at present. With the large increase of fertilizer use in the later period, they predicted that this year's wheat fertilizers might be out of stock in the peak season.
